Our mission to maintain the safety and security of our facility for the public; to ensure the custody, care, and treatment of inmates; and to facilitate programs of rehabilitation, education, and recreation of the inmates. |
| The Tyler County Sheriff's Jail houses prisoners for the Tyler County Deputies, Woodville Police Department, Texas Department of Public Safety's Troopers, National Park Service, Texas Game Wardens, Constables, United States Marshall Service, Texas Department of Corrections, and anyone arrested in Tyler County. We operate with one jailer per 12 hour shift. Our dispatchers and jailers share their duties between the jail and dispatch. |
